1. Vehicle Warranty

Viarelli offers a warranty on all its vehicles according to the terms specified below. The warranty covers defects that occur during the warranty period.

1.1 Scooters, Electric Scooters & Motorcycles

Viarelli provides a 2-year warranty for scooters, electric scooters, and motorcycles. These provisions apply to the sale to consumers (for individual use) of brand new mass-produced vehicles. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and lasts for 2 year. The warranty covers a maximum of 6000 km or as specified in the correctly filled warranty/service book. Upon vehicle delivery, the customer should receive a user manual and a service book.

Scooters, electric scooters, and motorcycles are also covered by a 2-year engine warranty. The engine warranty protects against defects in the engine that can be attributed to manufacturing or original faults. To be eligible for the warranty, the vehicle must have been regularly serviced. The warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.

1.2 ATV

Four-wheelers or ATVs from Viarelli are covered by a 6-month engine warranty. The engine warranty protects against defects in the engine that can be attributed to manufacturing or original faults. To be eligible for the warranty, the vehicle must have been regularly serviced. The warranty is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

1.3 E-bikes

All electric bikes from Viarelli are covered by a 1 year warranty. This warranty covers defects in the construction and/or material defects in the battery. These provisions apply to the sale to consumers (for individual use) of brand new bicycles. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and lasts for 1 year. The warranty only applies for the first owner. It cannot be transferred to another person.

2. Scope of Warranties

The engine warranty covers internal engine components such as crankshaft, bearings, valves, valve guides (excluding lapping and adjustment), valve lifters, valve bridge, rocker arms, oil pump, oil pump gears, connecting rod, piston, piston pin, piston rings, bushings, camshaft, timing chain, timing gears, transmission gears, and transmission bearings.

3. Warranty Exceptions

3.1 Warranty

Warranty Viarelli reserves the right to refuse to perform free warranty service if requested documentation cannot be presented or if the information is incomplete.

Viarelli disclaims responsibility for warranties under the following circumstances:

a) Damage due to neglected periodic maintenance/service, e.g., checking the freezing point of the coolant (if the engine is liquid-cooled), ensuring sufficient oil in the oil tank even if the warning light isn’t lit, etc.

b) Damage caused by repairs, adjustments, or maintenance done using methods other than those prescribed by the manufacturer.

c) All damage resulting from “hard” or abnormal driving, such as modified vehicles or off-road driving, or if the vehicle is used for competitions that the product is not intended for.

d) All damage resulting from usage beyond what the manufacturer considers normal, such as overloading, poor driving skills, and driving under abnormal conditions.

e) All damage or consequential damage arising from the use of contaminated or incorrect fuel.

f) All damage when non-original parts are used for repairs or non-original accessories, or when oils and lubricants of a quality not specified by the manufacturer are used.

g) All damage resulting from vehicle modification such as “tuning.”

h) All damage that is time-dependent (normal fading of colored surfaces, decals that may come off, oxidation of chrome or painted surfaces), as well as the use of incorrect cleaning agents or waxes.

i) All damage resulting from usage contrary to what is stated in the instruction manual.

j) Extreme weather phenomena affecting the product’s performance/function or appearance.

k) Replacement parts. Parts subject to normal wear, such as spark plugs, chains, variator wear parts, air filters, brake pads, brake discs, clutch plates, variator components, light bulbs, batteries, fuses, rubber parts, drive belts, tires or inner tubes, oils, fuel filters, variator weights, coolant.

l) Damage due to improper storage and transport.

m) Damage resulting from repair, maintenance, adjustment performed by other than one of our authorized workshops/dealers.

n) Damage due to external circumstances beyond the manufacturer’s control, such as natural disasters, fire, traffic accidents, theft, etc.

o) All damage due to oil or smoke, chemical products, bird droppings, or similar external conditions.

p) The vehicle’s warranty is valid only with a correctly filled service/guarantee book with stamps for service at the correct intervals.

q) Service must be performed at one of our authorized dealerships for valid warranty claims.

r) The warranty period for professional use, i.e., non-individual use, is 6 months.

s) In the event the vehicle is modified or altered from the original, all rights to warranty claims are forfeited.

t) In the event winter storage is not carried out according to our 10-point winter storage instructions, all rights to warranty claims are forfeited.

u) If the vehicle has been subjected to animal damage to wires, hoses, and the like.

3.2 Engine Warranty

The engine warranty does not cover:

a) External components such as carburetors, intake manifolds, exhaust systems, kick pedals, and gear shifters.

b) Electrical components such as the electrical system, ignition coil, battery, CDI box, stator plate, and starter motor.

c) Wear parts such as variator belts, chains, sprockets, variator, throttle cables, and fuel lines.

d) Oxidation or rust on engine parts or faults caused by the use of incorrect, old, or contaminated fuel.

e) Faults caused by inadequate maintenance, tuning, reckless driving, or other faults caused by negligence or mistreatment.

3.3 Battery Warranty

Viarelli does not take responsibility for battery damage caused by the following, and in such cases, no warranty is provided:

a) Inadequate handling of the battery.

b) Failure to maintain the battery as per the user manual/service manual.

c) Repairs or modifications carried out by non-professional personnel.

d) If subsequently installed parts do not conform to the technical specifications applicable to the battery, or parts/accessories that are not installed in accordance with the assembly instructions.

e) If the battery is not charged/maintained in accordance with the requirements outlined in the user manual/service manual.

f) Incorrect storage, overheating, and/or mishandling.

g) Abnormal use (such as competition).

h) If a charger other than the suitable and tested one is used.

4. Warranty Liability

Viarelli reserves the right to repair or replace defective parts on the moped. If repair or replacement is necessary, it will be done at no extra cost to the customer.

5. Warranty Procedure

In the event of any warranty claims, the customer should contact Viarelli through the provided contact information on their website. The customer must provide necessary documents, such as proof of purchase and warranty certificate, to substantiate the warranty claim.

6. Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, negligence, unauthorized modification, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear. The warranty also does not cover any cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the moped.

7. Force Majeure

In case of defects or damages caused by natural disasters or causes beyond Viarelli’s or the customer’s control, Viarelli has the right not to fulfill its commitments.
