The market for Motards has seen significant growth in recent years, and it’s no wonder once you experience how versatile and entertaining a Motard can be in traffic. Our new MOTARD is a high-performance moped that, thanks to its lightweight design, is extremely maneuverable. A Motard is essentially a motocross or enduro bike, with similar chassis and engine characteristics. However, a Motard differs from its off-road siblings in that it uses smoother road tires, known as slicks, instead of rugged off-road tires. In the saddle of a MOTARD, you have a “toy” for motorcyclists who enjoy the high power of larger sport bikes. The MOTARD’s quick acceleration and powerful brakes make it perfect for both rear-wheel riding and stoppies, although it may not be suitable for longer commutes. At higher speeds, the sleek front fairing helps minimize disruptive wind resistance, and a comfortable saddle ensures a good riding position even on longer trips. In city traffic, the MOTARD performs exceptionally well, as it is relatively compact and easy to navigate through dense traffic.

Engine

The engine has been developed with experience from the off-road world but has been modified to better suit everyday circumstances. The engine is a water-cooled single-cylinder 49.3 cc two-stroke engine of the AM 6 type, providing ample low-end torque and peak power. You’ll feel the full power of 3.5 kW at 6500 rpm. The water cooling ensures optimal engine performance, allowing the MOTARD to achieve the best possible power output without overheating. The neatly integrated exhaust system made of high-strength materials provides both a pleasing sound and the necessary conditions for optimal performance. The oversized fuel tank, with a capacity of 7.3 liters, allows for long rides without the need for frequent refueling.

Transmission

Equipped with a 6-speed manual sequential gearbox, you have ample power throughout the range, whether it’s uphill or on a smooth road. Shifting gears is easy with the left foot, and the elegant foot shift lever with textured footrests is designed to look sleek while being extremely durable.

Wheels

The solid cast aluminum wheels are designed to withstand the demands of tough asphalt surfaces. Both the front and rear feature 17-inch wheels to enhance maneuverability and ease of handling. The tires are of the latest type, with a sportier profile that provides optimal grip on smooth asphalt.

Brakes

Our MOTARD is built to handle high speeds, requiring robust brakes for quick deceleration. A large oversized wave-shaped front brake disc is complemented by sturdy dual-piston calipers typically found in the world of sport motorcycles. At the rear, there’s a wave-shaped dual-piston brake disc neatly integrated with the rear wheel.

Suspension

A Motard typically features stiffer suspension and shorter suspension travel to suit smoother surfaces. The suspension is adjustable in multiple dimensions, with preload adjustment and rebound damping adjustment. This allows for easy adjustment of the inverted front forks and single-piston rear suspension. It’s an exclusive suspension solution rarely found on Motards in this price range.

Frame

The frame is made of high-strength steel and features a truss construction, inspired by much more expensive sport bikes. The sleek welds, robust construction, and clean frame lines give the entire MOTARD a competent look that is both extremely rigid, strong, and lightweight. The aluminum swingarm is machined from a solid piece of aluminum, a construction typically found only on much more expensive superbikes.

Instrumentation

Equipped with LCD technology and backlighting, the compact integrated instrumentation provides a clear overview and ensures that you have easy access to all essential information. Well-sized warning lights and indicators enhance the overall visibility, and it’s no problem to see the speed, etc., even in the dark.

Driveline

The oversized O-ring chain and generously sized sprockets ensure efficient power transfer.

Storage

Storage on the MOTARD is limited, but there is space under the saddle for the most essential items and a small toolkit.

Comfort

The upright riding position and open rider environment provide excellent visibility of traffic. The soft yet firm foam padding in the saddle allows for comfortable extended rides. The rear recessed aluminum footpegs provide a sleek impression while also being able to withstand significant loads.

Lighting

With the latest LED technology, you can be sure to have optimal lighting even in the darkest environments. On a MOTARD, you’ll be highly visible in traffic, and the higher construction provides better visibility compared to significantly lower scooters.

Additional

We take care of all the administration related to ownership transfer and registration. The only thing you need to consider once you receive your new moped is to get insurance and adjust the moped to your preferences, and then you’ll be ready to hit the road. The moped comes complete with a manual, service book, and a small toolkit.
