Viarelli Retro: classic scooter styling for everyday riding

The Viarelli Retro is a Class 1 moped with a top speed of 45 km/h, built for riders who like the look of a classic Italian-style scooter but want modern technology underneath. Chrome mirrors and trim, elegant lamps and timeless lines give it a distinctive character on the road. The Retro is available in white and black.

Engine and fuel economy

Power comes from a GY-6 engine: a 49.6cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve unit with air cooling, producing 2.1 kW at 7,500 rpm. The engine is known for its smooth character and durability, and it starts at the push of a button. Fuel consumption is around 0.2 litres per 10 km, so the 6-litre tank gives a range of nearly 300 km. The Retro runs on 95 or 98 unleaded petrol.

Ride and braking

An automatic CVT transmission delivers smooth, easy riding, whether you are commuting in town or heading out on a longer trip. The 10-inch wheels and a sturdy frame provide a stable ride. Braking is handled by a ventilated disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, combined in an integrated braking system for even, controlled stops.

Comfort and storage

The well-padded seat has a water-repellent cover and a seat height of around 76 cm. Under the seat there is a lockable storage compartment for everyday essentials, and a large, easy-to-read instrument panel keeps you informed while riding.

Lighting and visibility

Halogen lighting and distinctive indicators help keep you visible in traffic.
