Viarelli NEO-02 – Class 1 electric moped in turquoise

The Viarelli NEO-02 is a Class 1 electric moped with a top speed of 45 km/h, built for commuting and everyday riding. As an electric vehicle, it does away with the routine servicing that a combustion engine requires.

Motor and drivetrain

Power comes from an integrated brushless DC planetary motor with a maximum output of 2000 W. The motor delivers smooth torque from a standstill, and the direct-drive layout keeps the number of moving parts to a minimum, which helps reliability and keeps maintenance down. A reverse function makes it easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces, and cruise control adds comfort on longer stretches.

Battery and range

The NEO-02 runs on a 76 V 32 Ah lithium battery with a capacity of 2.42 kWh. Range is up to 80 km per charge, depending on riding conditions and load. Lithium cells offer a favourable weight-to-capacity ratio and a long service life compared with conventional battery types.

Chassis, brakes and suspension

With a 1300 mm wheelbase and a weight of 78 kg excluding the battery, the NEO-02 has a stable, manageable build. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide consistent stopping power.

Lighting and display

LED lights front and rear improve both your view of the road and your visibility to others. The digital LED display shows speed, battery status and distance travelled, making it easy to plan when to charge.

Practical details

A 760 mm seat height gives a comfortable riding position for riders of different sizes. The NEO-02 is approved to carry one passenger and has a rated climbing ability of 15°, making it well suited to city riding with varied terrain.
