Viarelli NEO-02 – a dependable class 1 electric moped

The Viarelli NEO-02 is a class 1 electric moped (45 km/h) designed for commuting and everyday riding. It is built around a simple, robust drivetrain and a lithium battery system, so there is no need for the kind of servicing a combustion engine requires. This version comes in orange.

Motor and drivetrain

Power comes from an integrated brushless DC planetary motor with a maximum output of 2000 W. It delivers smooth, even torque from a standstill, and because it uses direct drive there are fewer moving parts to wear out, which helps keep maintenance down. A reverse function makes it easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces, and cruise control adds comfort on longer stretches.

Battery and range

The 76 V 32 Ah lithium battery has a capacity of 2.42 kWh and gives a range of up to 80 km per charge, depending on riding conditions and load. Lithium cells offer a good capacity-to-weight ratio and a longer service life than conventional battery types.

Chassis, suspension and brakes

With a 1300 mm wheelbase, the NEO-02 is stable on the road. It weighs 78 kg excluding the battery. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide consistent stopping power, while a hydraulic telescopic fork up front and hydraulic rear damping keep the ride composed.

Lighting and display

LED lights front and rear help you see and be seen. The digital LED display shows speed, battery level and distance travelled, making it easy to plan when to charge.

Practical details

A 760 mm seat height gives a comfortable riding position for riders of different sizes. The NEO-02 is approved for one passenger and handles gradients of up to 15°, which suits city riding on varied terrain. For safer and more practical everyday use, consider pairing it with a helmet, a reliable lock, a top box for extra storage and a protective cover for when it is parked.
